# Permanently Delete a Registered Webhook Subscription

> DELETE /project/{project_id}/webhook/{webhook_id} — Remove a webhook subscription and stop receiving notifications at that endpoint.

Use this endpoint to permanently remove a webhook subscription from your Convo project. Once deleted, Convo will immediately stop delivering event notifications to the associated URL.

> [!WARNING]
>
> Deleting a webhook immediately stops all event delivery to that endpoint. Ensure you have an alternative event handler in place before deleting, or that you no longer need to receive these notifications.

## Path Parameters

**project\_id** `string` *required*

Your Convo project ID.

**webhook\_id** `string` *required*

The unique ID of the webhook subscription you want to delete.

## Response

A successful deletion returns the following response:

**status** `string`

Returns `"success"` when the webhook has been successfully deleted.

## Error Responses

| Status Code | Description |
| - | - |
| `404` | Not Found — No webhook with the given `webhook_id` exists in the specified project. |
| `500` | Internal Server Error — An unexpected server-side error occurred. Retry the request or contact support. |
